Dudcast 05/07
By dudley | July 5, 2007
Still, the rain continues to pummel down. Ah well, cheered myself up this last week with excellent shows from Ted Leo, REM and quite surprisingly The Who, who were pretty tremendous. I think The Who show put me in the frame of mind of listening to older stuff this week, so you’ll find the young indie whipper snappers don’t get much of a look in today, apart from King Khan & The Shrines, but that record sounds 40 years old. Another pleasant surprise is The Dragons lp on Ninjatune. Recorded 37 years ago but never released ’til now, and it’s fantastic.
